Hi!

I couldn't find any info on that - how can I add notes to my flashcards when creating a spreadsheet?

I tried to do it simply:
1. Create a spreadsheet with two columns (question & answer).
2. Add a 3rd column called "Notes" and add notes to my flashcards.
3. Download the spreadsheet via the app.

This resulted in no notes available in the app.

At the same time, if I do this:
1. Create a spreadsheet with two columns (question & answer).
2. Download this spreadsheet in the app.
3. Open a flashcard in the app and add a note to it.
4. Upload the deck back online and open the modified spreadsheet.

... then I can see the new, third column called "Notes", with notes I added in the app.


Any idea what am I doing wrong? I'm using the app on IOS.

Hi Jackens,

Not sure, but maybe it didn't work because you didn't have an appropriate header column. Was your first card the header row?

The row before your flashcards should look something like

Text 1 | Text 2 | Notes

"Text 1" needs to be exactly this.
If this still doesn't solve your problem, I recommend you email me your Excel file and I can take a look.
