Italics / Markdown

Italics / Markdown

Hi Ernie,
I'm a teacher for Latin and Greek in Berlin and I'm using your app a lot with my classes. Your app is awesome!

Nevertheless better is the enemy of good and so I am really missing an non-html-feature, to add comments in italics to the actual meanings of the words. Some years ago you wrote, that markdown is a feature on your list. Is it still?

best wishes, Matthias

Hi Matthias,

Thanks!

Did you know that you can format text in Excel, and if you import that Excel file, the app will convert to HTML for you?

I likely won't be adding markdown anytime soon. It seems more likely I'll add a rich text editor within the app first, as I think more users would benefit from it.

But I have other priorities right now (as far as FCD updates go) which will keep me busy for a while. Markdown is unfortunately a bit low on my list at the moment.
