I know this has been mentioned in the past, but it was many years ago, so I thought a new thread would be good

but the badge icon shows cards due when there are not any due
i've tried opening all the sets, opening/closing the app, turning the setting off/on
but nothing changes
I am using the app on iOS
grateful for any suggestions

Are you using the "postpone due until" feature? The badge doesn't take this setting into account, so it will be wrong.
In this case, I don't have any plans to fix this anytime soon. Sorry. I've got higher priority items to deal with for quite a while.

If you don't have "postpone due until" turned on (in Spaced Repetition settings at bottom), then let me know and I'll see if I can figure anything out.
