It's only in the iOS version. I don't know how to do this in Android.

For iOS, make sure you set the Sounds > TTS voice to Chinese, and then you should see the Pleco option in the study screen in bottom-center card menu.

Sorry, I was mistaken. Android does support launching Pleco. I forgot I added it.

The main problem is that the app will only show Pleco option if you select an iSpeech TTS voice. If you use mp3 files, you can set an iSpeech voice, but you can't do this if you are using System TTS voice. I just updated the app to show Pleco when a Chinese Android system voice is set. The production version also doesn't send the Chinese text to Pleco, unless you have "read clipboard on open" option in Pleco. I also just corrected this, so that Pleco will open vocab word/sentence in search/reader screen. So this will all be available for the next update (in a week or two).

Great, that's great news, was already looking for dictionary to add in HTML on one side since that's rather easy, but it takes time to load though, will wait and see how this with Pleco goes.

In vocabulary I don't use Android tts anyway, so think that won't be problem.

Thank you

Pleco Works now, thanks allot.

Though it works both with ispeach and Android tts.

If anyone is looking for this
You need to enable tts for side you want to be sent to Pleco, so if I have Chinese characters on side 2, set Chinese tts as well on side two (if you have mp3 already on side two, you can still set tts to that side as well and your mp3 will play anyway, just if you use ispeach, don't download it, as that could overwrite your mp3, but not sure about that)

If you Set tts on side with English or German Text, it will open English or German in Pleco and list Chinese translations under it.

Also if side with tts is sentence, whole sentence will be opened in Pleco with all characters listed with definitions

Thank you Ernie

This all is already available on iOS and after next update it will be available on Android as well.
