New card animation

Hi there
As of this week the animation when turning a card has changed on my iphone. It‘s no longer a turning, more a collapsing. First I thought the axis of the animation must have changed. But with cards with a lot of text I can see the collapsing/folding (primarily visible on the bottom
part) of the card. Did the animation in the app change or is this some kind of liquid glass animation that changed?

By the way: great app, use it nearly every day.

Hi Pete,

Hmm, not sure why it changed for you. I didn't make any programming change. I use "fade" for flipping, but I just turned on the "flip" option on iOS 26 and the animation looks like how I remembered it.

Go to Global Options, View. Toggle the "Card Flip Animation" off and back on. Did that change anything?

I'm hoping Apple will fix this. It looks terrible.

The only solution I have now is to switch to a fade animation:

Go to Global Options, View. Set to "Card Flip Animation" to OFF.
