OneDrive - Media subfolder not found

I've been using OneDrive for quite a while now to add my flashcards to Flashcards Deluxe without any problems, but today I've been getting the error "Media subfolder not found: <deck name> Media/". I have logged out and back in again. I have tried to redownload old decks that worked before and get the same error. I was able to finally import the deck by moving the .xlsx and the Media folder to my Dropbox account and connecting to that account, but I'd like to be able to continue using OneDrive. The files are under Apps/Flashcards Deluxe on both servers.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Sorry for the slow reply.

I don't know why you'd get that, especially if it worked before. I tried a test now and it worked for me with OneDrive.

Do you have a special characters in the deck name? If so, try a test without any characters with an accent or mark, just a-z, 0-9.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what's going on yet.

Hi Ernie,

I had a chance to play around with this some more. I made a few small test cases that worked fine but still couldn't get the other files to work. Renaming the decks/folders didn't change anything. The only obvious difference was the size of the decks, so I tried removing some of the media files. The original media folder had 870 .mp3 files totaling about 18 MB, cutting this to 346 and then 246 didn't fix things, but at 122 files it worked. It didn't matter how many of files were referenced in the .xlsx, only how many were in the media folder. Filenames are ~ 10-20 characters + extension (e.g., DirectionsCr026.mp3).

Does this help at all with the troubleshooting? Again, the full set worked fine from DropBox, I'm only seeing the problem in OneDrive.

I just did a test with 1900 image files in the media folder. 207MB. It worked for me. No error message.

If you want, you can zip and share with me the media and Excel file and I can try on my end.

Seemed like something specific to me so I deleted the app from my devices and the "Flashcards Deluxe" folder on OneDrive and started over. After reinstalling the app and connecting to OneDrive, the FD installed sample files showed up in a new directory "Apps/ODC Consumer" instead of "Apps/Flashcards Deluxe". Files and media uploaded to this new directory are syncing ok, so I guess I consider this bizarre but resolved. Thanks for the help and for this great app.

Are you using a OneDrive business account?
I've heard of some people having the directory called "ODC Consumer". I don't know why this happens. This is something on OneDrive side. I thought they were using Business account. I'm not sure if my app totally supports business accounts.
I'd be interested to know if your account is personal or business.
