Google translate broken?

Google translate broken?

Postby kraemder » Fri Feb 03, 2023 10:50 pm

I’ve come to rely on this feature a lot for my Korean studies. It suddenly stopped working and says an unknown error has occurred. Are you connected to the Internet? My Internet is fine. This error just popped up for me and I’m immediately posting about it without giving you a chance to fix anything but I thought maybe you didn’t know about it.

It’s working again. Maybe the Google server went down for a minute. Anyway. Love the app. Sorry if this was a false alarm.

Hi kraemder,

Glad it started working again!
I normally keep on top of this forum, but was a bit behind in this case.

Glad you are still enjoying the app! Thanks.

I’m having the same issue again since yesterday. I’m hoping posting about it will make it resolve itself like it did last time 😆. The translation function is really useful especially if you’re making phrase or sentence cards.

It’s working again. It started working again at midnight local time. I wonder if Google had my ip short term black listed. I wasn’t translating that many cards but who knows.

Hi kraemder,
I don't know. There was a lot of activity on June 20th. There might be some daily quotes where Google will stop working in high usage cases until a new day. I'm just not sure.
