Are you using iOS or Android.

I think Android should work OK.
iOS, I'm not sure. But first go to Global Options (gear icon at top-left of main Decks screen) > Control > Enable External Control > turn on. See if this helps.

If you are using Android or the iOS setting change didn't help, let me know.
