You should be able to use "Chinese (Female)" voice for correct Mandarin sounds now.

The male "Chinese" voice is not longer supported by iSpeech, and currenlty will produce Cantonese sounds.

Hi Frédéric,

My TTS provider, iSpeech, is having a problem. In addition to them breaking my TTS, I’m frustrated because they are not returning my emails.

iSpeech will likely be going away in a month or two.
I’m currently working on adding support for Amazon Polly voices, to replace iSpeech.

In the meantime, you can use Siri or Android’s built in TTS, instead of downloading the mp3 files from iSpeech. Sorry for the trouble.

Hello,

There is a problem with downloading Chinese TTS, Chinese and Chinese (Female) both end up downloading in Cantonese, not Mandarin.
